An event entitled “Enhancing regional business cooperation across the wider Black Sea area”, a platform for Regional Business Dialogue was organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan in cooperation with the BSEC Business Council on 20 October 2009 in Baku – Azerbaijan. This initiative provided the opportunity for exchanging views on the “regional business cooperation” in the Wider Black Sea area, focusing, in particular, on the role of the regional business schemes and mainly of the BSEC Business Council to the development of the private sector across the countries of the region.

Among the key points devoted for dialogue was the challenge to further strengthening the “business voice” of the BSEC with a view to promote a more result-oriented approach of the Organization.
Members of the BSEC CSO, the representatives of the Members of the BSEC Business Council Board of Directors, Embassies, International Organizations with seat in Baku and business associations participated to the event
